Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano-Reggiano
We have enjoyed a relationship with the Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano Reggiano for some years. We have encouraged them to participate in press trips organised by us for the Parma Ham Consortium. These products have shared values of long tradition, PDO certification, 100% natural, high quality and specific products from a defined region.

This is the first appointment of a UK PR agency by the Parmigiano-Reggiano consortium and came about because of our experience with certified products and endorsement from the Parma ham consortium.

Parmigiano-Reggiano, sometimes known as ‘Parmesan’ in the UK, is a respected and renowned product throughout the world. The maturing process, unique in this type of cheese, allows for a range of cheeses aged up to 30 months.

Parmigiano-Reggiano is identifiable from the special markings on the rind. It is extra aged, made by traditional methods and is 100% natural. Perfect as an ingredient or on its own, it is positioned as the premium Italian hard cheese.

Press trips to the region; recipe development; literature; media relations – press releases, product sampling, recipe and information CDs; press lunch and cookery school; retail promotion; promotion and educational activities for chefs.
